About

At The Frontline Coach, I work with people driving change and responding to urgent social issues in complex, often under-resourced environments - activists, social entrepreneurs, grassroots leaders, and others in direct support roles. Whether you're grappling with big decisions, navigating burnout, or simply needing a space to pause and reflect, I offer coaching and mentoring that meet you where you are.

My approach is grounded in the belief that you probably already hold the answers to the challenges you're facing. You may just need a sounding board from an experienced person outside of your current network, to help you understand your options and unearth your solutions.

I do this through:

Coaching
Creating the space and structure to explore your questions with clarity and intention. Coaching is a collaborative, reflective process that helps you uncover insights, build self-awareness, and move forward in a way that feels authentic and aligned. My job is to listen attentively, and ask the right questions.

Mentoring
Bringing in experience and perspective when invited. Mentoring complements coaching by offering practical guidance, relevant knowledge, or a different way of seeing things, particularly when you're navigating unfamiliar territory. It’s about sharing lessons learned and offering suggestions while always respecting your autonomy and trusting in your ability to choose your own path.

By combining both, I offer a flexible and responsive practice tailored to the realities of frontline work. With over 10 years of experience across grassroots organising, leadership, and systems-building, I support change-makers to progress with purpose while staying grounded in their values. This work is demanding, and you don’t have to do it alone.

My
Story

I started my own journey on the frontline - in the Calais "Jungle" and in urban Athens during the height of the European refugee crisis. What was intended to be a month of  volunteering quickly became a long-term commitment, as I went on to co-found an international children's rights organisation and later a local NGO in Greece supporting displaced youth. Those years were intense, urgent, and deeply formative.

Amid the chaos, I was fortunate to discover the quiet power of coaching and mentoring. Both gave me space to pause, reconnect with what mattered, and make decisions from a place of strength rather than survival. It was transformative, and it changed how I approach my work, stay connected to my values, and how I sustain myself in difficult times.

I still work directly in frontline and community work, but I now also support others doing the same. I’m motivated by a desire to share what I’ve learned, to bring reflective practice into spaces where it’s often missing, and to offer coaching and mentoring that help frontline change-makers stay resourced and resilient for the long haul.
